Important Registration Updates

MUN Advisors and Club Leaders-

Please make note of the following information to make your registration successful:

Invoice Statements

Invoice statements will be attached to an email from the Secretary General that also includes your school’s country assignments. Since cost of participation is determined by the total number of possible delegates a school may bring to the Conference, we must wait to assign delegations prior to sending invoice statements. The earliest this will be is April 15, 2013.

Error Message:

Our website is currently experiencing technical difficulties in showing the “Thank You for Registering” page that should display after you hit submit. Clicking “Submit” will take you to a page that says “Application error (Rails).” Please understand that your registration information has been successfully submitted, though the page displayed is an error message. Our Secretary General will, every Friday by 12:00 PM until April 15, be sending confirmation to those schools that have registered throughout the week. After April 15—the first round of country assignments—a successful registration confirmation will be sent along with country assignments. If you have not received emailed confirmation by 12:00 PM the Friday immediately after you have submitted your registration, please contact Secretary General Andrew Wirt at secgen@gtmun.org, so we may resolve any conflicts in a timely manner.

Country Preferences:

Additionally, our registration page automatically sorts country preferences alphabetically upon submission. We request that all schools rank their country preferences in the “Special Reasons” section on the Registration Form so that your school’s preferences are clearly stated.

On behalf of the Secretariat, we appreciate your continued patience and support. We look forward to a successful registration period and conference, and as always, if you experience any errors or have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at secgen@gtmun.org.
