As the conference approaches, please see the Important Dates page under the Conference tab to view deadlines for Position Papers as well as the deadline for submitting Delegation Information. Details for both can be found under Important Dates (click here for information on Position Papers). Additionally, please keep an eye on the Documents page as we upload more information regarding the conference. Delegates should be utilizing background information provided under each Committee to prepare their Position Papers and research at this point.

Registration for the 2009 Georgia Tech Model UN Conference will open Saturday April 11, 2009, at 12:00 PM (Noon) Eastern Time. Please familiarize yourself with the information and the website before registration begins to make the process smoother. Schools will have until mid-August by which time they can register. Earlier registration, however, will ensure your school has the best chance of getting the countries desired.
Please note: Registration closing dates and Position Paper due dates are not yet finalized. However you can expect until at least August for Registration closing and at least September for Position Paper deadlines.

Congratulations to all delegates at the 2008 Assembly of the Georgia Tech Model United Nations! You all showed a high level of expertise in your debate and your research. Thank you all for coming and I hope to see you again next year!

The countdown has officially begun- 40 days until GTMUN 2008!
Registration has been closed since April, and all supporting payments should have been received by September 1, 2008. Committee directives have been posted, and within the next two weeks, all Introductions, Histories and Current Situations will be posted, as well. Please check back at the website for those documents.
Position papers are due by 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. These papers are to be submitted online. Please refer to the requirements listed on the website for more information.
